How we work

How we work with your project team

For conveyor company project managers and for warehouse, DC, and plant teams running an automation project: one point of contact, written questions, weekly status, a FAT you can witness, and help at startup.

Project steps

What happens after you send a scope

The same steps whether it’s one panel or a full conveyor system.

  1. 01

    Kickoff call

    30–60 minutes

We confirm scope, what you already have (scope, I/O list, layout, or drawings), who approves drawings and substitutions, the startup date, and ship-to details.

You get: a short scope summary for your project file.

  2. 02

    Drawings & questions

    Typically 1–3 weeks

We draw the panels or review yours. Questions go into a single written log so nothing is decided in a hallway.

You get: approval drawings and a question log.

  3. 03

    Build with status

    Typically 3–6 weeks

A weekly update with photos, material status, and anything that needs a decision from you.

    You get: weekly status email.

  4. 04

    FAT

    Typically 1–2 days

Your team witnesses the test in our shop or over video. Punch items are fixed before shipping.

    You get: signed FAT record.

  5. 05

    Startup & support

    At ship and after

Shipped with drawings in the door pocket. We support installation checkout and startup, and the people who built the panel answer questions afterwards.

You get: documentation package and a direct contact.

Who we work with

Two kinds of project teams

Conveyor companies

Conveyor & material-handling OEMs and installers

Panels engineered from your conveyor layout or built to your drawings, delivered to match your installation schedule. Your nameplate and title block if you sell the panels under your name, and repeat builds kept on a consistent BOM.

End users

Warehouse, DC & plant project managers

Panels, PLC programming, and startup support for your automation project, coordinated with your conveyor supplier and electrical contractor, with documentation written for your maintenance team.

Either

What stays the same

One engineer as your point of contact, written questions and change orders, weekly updates, and Allen-Bradley options alongside alternates on the BOM.

Working rules

How we run your project

  • One point of contact

One engineer owns your project from kickoff to startup, so questions don’t get lost between people.

  • Changes in writing

Every change after approval goes through a change order with cost and schedule impact stated.

  • Schedules you can plan around

Long-lead items are flagged at quote, and the weekly update says whether the ship date still holds.

  • Confidentiality

Layouts, drawings, programs, and pricing stay confidential. NDAs are fine; send yours.
